Down in the cosy basement bar, Mademoiselle London hosted a joint evening with their friends at Franglish – the conversation exchange event team.

Franki and Kat got to try out the new speed-conversational experience – 7 minutes in French, 7 minutes in English and then switching tables for a new partner.

And as well as selling some books and meeting a gorgeous bunch of people, they discovered new words in French such as glousser (to chuckle) and gribouillage (scribble).
